Hey gang,
Flingster was nice enough to host my non MOCCA IK rigs . for those who are looking for an alternative way to rig characters.
I have these in my library. so now, you can put them in yours...
...your library that is.
it relies fairly heavily on the mult-target plug-in. So you will need to go and get it.
ZIP file - need multitarget plugin
http://www.flingster.com/cgtalk/stray/Leg_Rig.zip
or SIT file - need multitarget plugin

If some is interested in a Tizio lamp you should use the link below. I did this one, I guess, with version6 of C4d. And went over it with V7. This one was also placed on the Christmas Calender of the C4d-Treff in 2001, I guess. So feel free to use it.
Several scenes are included. The design on the site following the tizio internet site of 2001. It now looks different.

MB Skeleton
For anyone with 8.5 and MB5, I've uploaded a Cinema file consisting of a skeleton that's properly named and laid out for use with MB.
With regard to weighting, I suggest you import one of the characters from MB into Cinema and examine the weighting using Claude Bonet (if you have it). That will give you a good idea how to weight your own characters.

Hi,
I made a (part wise) parametric robe bridge available on my site. You can adjust the span, sagging, density of boards and seed.
http://www.wallis-eck.de/2009/?p=364
Its for C4D R11.5 and makes use of XPresso, Mograph and Mocca. I guess this bridge must have character ;-)

If anybody is interested, I made a simple rig of a big cartoon tongue using the cloth engine. This comes as a simple solution to my first attempt of using Soft Body IK. The challenge was trying to keep the "tongue" from intersecting the lips. So, the clothilde collider achieves this perfect. Just place a bone as a child of the collider object and you can then move the rig around without upsetting the point calculations made by the cloth tag on the tongue. I'll be happy to send the file or send to somebody to host.
enjoy,
saludos,
Scott

Hi this is based on the c4d content tilt camera. I just replaced the parameters control with a target control. I also connected the Vray camera clipper to the c4d cam clipper. IMPORTANT if you want this to work with multiple cameras you need to give each one a different grayscale Display color.

Well. Yet another free model. A coffee spoon!
Modeled with precision in millimetres and centimetres in R12.
It is around 11cm long , 0.7 cm height (laying on a surface) and
around 2.6 cm wide. Thickness in spoon nest is around 1-1.2 mm.

Last month Nick Campbell launched his candle rig and I found it nice... It's so simple, so magic and very useful. But I thought something is missing, the dynamics on it, I really want to move it, to make it even more real and why not... more useful. Thats why I did the second version with some dynamic improvements.
It would be great if you let me see how it works and the wonderful projects you'll make with it.

names are in german but attached is a pic to give the names in german and english in case you might find use for it. (always wanted to rename it but never did so)
there are 4 levels of detail to choose from:
simple
with chamfer
detailed with chamfer
complex
until I rename this whole thing - here it is in german for the moment:
