CGTalk - Wireframe?

I'm kind of having a problem. Every time I want to move an object, or I want to use Arc Rotate to move my view in perspective, the whole scene turns into a wire frame. Does anybody know what it is doing this, and how I can fix it? Thanks a lot in advance.

there's a button in the toolbar(top or bottom, not sure) called degradation override which, when active, prevents the rendered image from reverting to the wireframe.

Press the "o" key on your keyboard in max R5.
