I'm planing on buying a mac pro but I have the following question:

I know that we can have windows 32 and 64 on a mac, but I heard that windows 64 on mac is quite buggy and stuff like that.

So is this this true or not? because 3d max would go much more faster on windows 64 bit and I really want to have mac OS X for other stuff.

If any of you has a good working windows 64 on a mac can you let me know about it?

I wonder where you got that information. To the best of my knowledge there is no substantial speedgain with any 64 bit version of an app compared to its 32 bit version.
Cheers

Srek is right there isnt really any speed gain going from 32bit to 64bit. 64bit just is better for larger scenes because the program can use more ram.

I always though there would be a huge speed difference between 32 bit and 64 bit, thanks for the info guys.

I'm also really interested in running XP 64 on a Macpro system... Anybody doing this? I'm planning on running Cinema 4d not 3d max though...
