Well, I want to start doing Low Poly more low poly. I want to know if this setup could handle doing low poly 3d work. Maybe characters with 15k polys at most.

Quad Core 2.4 ghz
2gb of Ram
Nvidia Geforce 8300 GS

Definately.

My current system of AMD dual core + 2gB Ram + 7800GT will handle 500k polys.

So it shouldn't be a problem.
