i tried the wings 3d Bevel its really great. you can have your bevel go outward or inward by moving the mouse.
Does anyone know of a great Bevel Script/Plug in for maya 4x?
I keep hearing like on spriolid forums that the bevel tool is terrible in maya. I hope somone has a link or something thanks.

u can do that in wings3d and export/import it into maya wings3d has a great tool set and i hope we will see some of that in maya5 the api is more flexible
