I'm still pretty new to MEL, and for some reason I can't figure out how to use source right when I'm trying to point to a file that's not in the default source folder. For example, both

source "C:\Documents and Settings\Erik\Desktop\scenes\TwoVehicles.mel";
and
source C:\Documents and Settings\Erik\Desktop\scenes\TwoVehicles.mel;

don't work. Thanks in advance for responses.

you should use '/' instead of '\' .

source "C:/Documents and Settings/Erik/Desktop/scenes/TwoVehicles.mel";
