awesome, I like that. It's got a cool feel to it. I wish I could draw in photoshop, all I knew is where the filters are. Or did you use photoshop? Whichever, it's cool. :D

Very simple, and yet very breathtaking, your composition, your colors...oh man its so beautiful

Can you explain a bit how you made it (method, programme...)

Thanks alot for the nice comments.
I should add a little more detail on it as soon as possible.
i works in Photoshop 7, and i use the smudge tool very much in this picture..first, i do an nice background in this case the sky, then i added some clouds and a light(sun), and then i draw the tree. in th end i added some filters...:)

I love the colors, the composition, the feel. Very nice job.

The only thing that catches my is that the way the leaves are drawn in seem to take away from the composition a little just because it looks systematic. Leaves that fall from wind gusts go all over the place and not necessarily in one direction. That was the only thing bothering me. (Then again I'm an odd-ball at times :hmm:

Keep the great work!

this is very nice!!

i really like how the tree blends into the sky at the top and yet is distinct towards the bottom - one thing...perhaps you could show some movement of the tree itsself?, to show that there is a wind blowing off the trees' leaves - perhaps also add some moving clouds or a distant thunderstorm?

but really, this is a fine painting as it is - now do 500 more! (just kiddding)
