Hey everybody

This is my first attempt at Fantasy art after painting From references for eleven years

http://i230.photobucket.com/albums/ee213/tylers/herewegocopy.jpg

I know it looks very ameture compared to some of the mind blowing stuff here so what I'm looking for mostly is good critisism on how to get better.

Any feedback is greatley apreciated.

If you have been painting from references for 11 years, certainly you have developed some familiarity with joints and musculature.

This creature's joints look incapable of standing, or movement. They bend different directions from each other, at varying levels on the 4 legs.

Consistency and accuracy are the two most important rendering skills you can acquire. You need to keep using references until you understand what you are drawing enough to display the consistency and accuracy missing in this piece.

You need to start with a solid drawing foundataion before jumping into colors and textures. You do not have this foundation for this piece.
