CGTalk - Maya Rigging Noob

Hi I am TTYO and a long time max user. I just wanna switch to maya but I cannot understand where some of the things and how they work

Here’s a list of stuff I am trying to do.

Keying attributes
Wiring Parameters
Controlling the IK swivel.... it’s a headache..

If anyone can help, I give my thanks…

As boring as it is, the manual's search will probably answer these questions. Try reading about the "channel box", the "connection editor" and "pole vectors".
