CGTalk - Not getting audio

Hi,

I'm new to After Effects and am using version 6 Standard edition to try out a few things.

One problem I'm experiencing is a lack of any sound output when playing back an imported media file (.avi) within After Effects - can anyone point me in the right direction to fix this problem?

P.S. I'm also not having any luck with sound when playing DVDs through my PC - could this be a device drivers problem maybe?

Any help would be appreciated.

when in the AE the ram play got sound ? if yes i think when u output tat time u forgot to click the audio output ... :)
