Title: Opposites Attract
Name: Sam Hogg
Country: United Kingdom
Software: Photoshop

This was a piece done for the "Opposites" themed challenge on Pixelbrush in November, and happily, I can say it won, which surprised me, given the subject matter and new style for me (one I enjoyed painting muchly).

A work that reflects my own personal tastes very much, from the relationship itself, to the clothing and style in general - I always find it much easier to do something if I have a personal angle on it.

Done over a two week period, maybe spent about 12 ish hours on it, in Photoshop from scratch. Comments and crits welcome, as always.

sam sam sam... everytime you come close to being even remotely marginally typecast in my mind, you come out and do things that totally reinvent 'zephyri'. stellar work as always!

the entire piece, despite its bizarreness is really endearing.

Lady Purple, Ghotire: thank you!

Cris: Ehehe when you need something round and fluffy, can't think of anything else! Wouldn't be my personal taste, I'm more a black and shiny girl myself. *grin*

Baka: thanks m'dear, I'd hate to think I was luring anyone into a alse sense of security!

another cute and quirky piece from you. YOu seem to have a knack for that!
I really like the concept of a raver kind of girl vs. victorian gentleman. Not something I'd think of myself, and it's very striking!
