hey man,
dunno why anybody hasn't said anything yet. it's pretty sweet. i really like the face.
i think you should've spent a bit more time on some of the tree stumps in the back, the edges look too round... unless that's what you're going for. that & something about the reflections looks weird.
but other than that, good job

Looks good, but the first and the third three and other like them are too simple, they look like they were extruded once...

I also feel like the hat is to big for her head, and she looks like she's bald.

But other then that, excellent!

Yeah,

You are right. I was looking at the trees when I posted and thought to myself I shoulda spent a bit more time working on the them.

But you know what it's like when you work on something and you just wanna get it finished...

Can't be arsed to re-render everything and comp it again.

Personally I like the reflections. It's one of th things I like most about this pic.

I think the reason you say the reflections look wierd is cos I forget to setup a shadow pass for the character, whereas everything else casts a shadow on the swamp...

Nice pic, though I think it still needs some work, like said before: work on the trees, its sad to let the background (environment) ruin the picture

What caught my eyes, was the the swamp-surface itself, it seems like the girl is travelling through the swamp, you need to make some ripples and wakes to make the picture more dynamic (and realistic).

like you said yourself the reflection is very nice and give the images and overall nice look.

Keep it up

I'm no expert on travelling in swamps, but wouldn't the left foot drip water if she had just lifted it out?
