Title: Typhoid Mary
Name: Abbas Saleem Khan
Country: Pakistan
Software: Photoshop, Sketchbook Pro

I was on the Digital Webbing forums and I saw a few posts featuring Typhoid Mary which appeared to be an offshoot of some competition from the ten ton studios forum.

Anyway a few days later I was looking through the deviantart web stock and i found a pretty cool reference to work with (http://steamed-pepsi-stock.deviantart.com/art/Bloody-Mary-Stock-72203420).

I had also bumped up my PC's ram and replaced the defective-as-hell-forcing-my-pc-to-restart ram module and went back to my ever lovable Alias Sketchbook Pro. Photoshop was used for the final compositing.

The quote on the side is one from VanGoethe which I find fitting for a Daredevil character.

you're getting more and more stylized with the composition, Abbas! I love this piece! Though I personally would have worked more with the skin tones, but that's just me. If there's a t-shirt like this around, I'd buy it :P

Composition and overall design rules, such as colours! I really like the drawing but I'd personally add more depht and work into it. Anyways, this is really good Abbas!

Nice style you've got going on.. those red parts kinda make it go into 3D, you should explore that more, cause it's kinda freakin cool. Are you gonna go more into this style in your future works of was it just a temporary expiriment?

I think I already replied to this one! Where the hell is my reply?? ow well, again then:
I was saying.. love where this style is going, you should explore this more! The red lines kinda go into 3D which is freakin cool next to all the 2Dness, I think you should go further with that in your next work. Did you have a clear idea of where this should go, or did you just go with the flow?

you need to have more longer (less wiggly) lines .. your lines are fine as they are but a good rule of the thumb is to always have a difference in line type between outlines and "other" lines just helps to bring out the charecter more.

that bieng said the camera angle is very nicely executed..
and here proportions in accordance to that also look nice.
those red streaks are also nice.
