View Full Version : Digital Camera Advice..
gauta 12-22-2007, 05:36 AM Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what digital camera to invest about 400 dollars into.. my expertise is compositing, and I'm looking for the right performance module to fit within this budget and hopefully get the job done. I would appreciate advice on both a digital camera AND a camcorder, so if anyone has any tips please let me know! Thanks much!

if you go slightly over 400 you can get the nikon D40 (maybe you can find a place where they sell it for less, dunno), which i always found to be a quite nice camera.
as for camcorder, what budget do you have in mind for that ?

well, i was hoping to stay within the same price range for camcorders, as unrealistic as that seems.. i'll probably just wait until the technology gets better and the prices drop a bit on the "good ones." i've heard the Aiptek 720p is a really good camcorder for its price (150)... thanks!
