View Full Version : Vehicle: Arctic Hunter Bike "new Version"
Banshee 04-22-2003, 11:37 AM Hi guys!
Iīve given my "bike" a new face-lifting.. Hope you like it! :)
What do you think about the bikeīs surface? The "car"-Shader? I spent almost 3 days on it.
Itīs modelled with MaxR3.1, rendered with the Max-standard Scanline Renderer. 700K Polys, 2 hours rendertime...
Greetings from Germany! :bounce:
btw: the bike was meant to "drive" on ice and snow, maybe even sand.

Simply Brilliant!
There is a visual quality that reminds me of the classic 50's renderings of future fantasies.
Remember Harley Earl and Raymond Lowey?

Whats wrong? Why such a low reply count for such a cool work? You have awsome style.

I really like it, however one small thing:
There's a jet intake type thing *Right* where someone could lean their head. Riding this thing and having a ponytail would be suacide.

:bounce: Thanks for your response!
Itīs very encouraging to hear that all!
The thing with the jet-engines is... well... uhm... the driver will actually have to get into an almost lying (do you write it this way?) position to get his feet on the "Things that I donīt know the name for in english" - the black things at the end of the seat.
Thatīs the only way to "sit" on this thing. Otherwise... well.. heīll get sucked into the jet engines :buttrock:
Anyway - Iīm not an engineer , just a Sci-Fi Freak
Cheers!
