Just a character(Thunk..the shaman'),I doodled...and decided to paint out.This is my first full out attempt at photoshop painting with a wacom.....need as much input and advice as i can get...

Hey,
This is really good for your first painintg... I really like the character....Now to the part where you can improve... well it would be really nice if you could darken your B.G. so that it does not merge with the character... and you can darken the jaw which is in shadow so that the light and shadow can be really felt... your nails are also really bright now.. but I really like it.. You are on the right track and i cant wait for you to finish this still... all the best..
