Newbie here . I've decided to follow in the lines of what Animation mentor tries of having a simple , no-arm model to work with initially , just to work on walk cycles and weight . The model I cooked up right now is this ;

Do you guys think it is sufficient to get my hands wet with a bit of animation and simple rigging and skinning ??

I would add a couple of edge loops around the ankle so it bends properly.

And the same thing for the toes if you want them to bend.
