my first posts here :applause: I love that kick ass cg community and im reading here just a longe time ago :beer:
ok lets have a look what im working on, a 1967 Shelby Mustang Gt500 (modified). Its something special. If u have seen the Movie Gone in 60 seconds with Niclas Cage u understand why im building this car :xtreme:
its just a contest and i hope www.eleanormustangs.com will help me to get more detailed images to creat a good model. thx allot :thumbsup:
btw there are no blueprint aviable for Eleanor ;(

i love this car Worran, and i own the film on DVD, it has to be one of my favourites..
Well done on the mesh so far..very clean... just a few little crits..
1. The wires that are used to clip the bonnet down that curve up from the grill are a tad too thick..they're only thin on the car
2. The door pannels and side skirts of the car come down further than the front bumper.. in yours they are much to high.. you can see it clearly from the last pic you posted.
Other than that keep on going...loving it..cant wait to see updates

thats correct will change it next time. But dont look at the parts behind the tires these parts are instead dummys :o Beside there is something missing. There are only 10 days to complete the mesh :eek:
late model american cars are the way to go ppl, especially of this quality!

Dang this looks like fun, one of my favorites,, I should make one too, got a 69 modeled,, maybe tweek it into this machine
can't wait to see it all painted up.

the Shaders are still under construction. i made some Reflektion tests with new HDRI but it seems impossible to animate it with hdri :( its hard to get a realistic bright enamel!

anyone has some detailed picture of the mashine inside Eleanor? Its a 428 Cobra Engine but i didnt found any usefull images for modeling. Its still a mystery and i feel free to build my own mashine :cool:
