Hey guys,
Might anyone know how to or of a tutorial that shows an effective way of showing an object being electrocuted in Maya? I mean, like, just some basic effect like having an electricity effect go over a sheet of metal. I've done it through textures in 3d Max by putting glows on a layered shader...but I can't seem to figure it out in Maya. Thanks a lot for any help.

I don't have a complete tutorial, but the Lightning effect might work well for you if you animate the emitters moving around the surface of your object.
