 Hi there,

thats my first Post on CGtalk and IŽm proud to present my Modeling Reel which IŽve recently finished.
All Models are build and rendered in diffrent layers with 3D max and the Scanline Renderer... the Concepts at the end of the reel are painted in Photoshop with a little help of my Wacom Intous 3. Compositing, Effects and CC were done in After Effects.
The whole project took me about seven month of my spare time beside my job in a Postproduction (Frankfurt/Germany).
With my Reel I hope to get into the Games business.

Hope youŽll like it... critiques and comments are very welcome.

just a suggestion,
upload your reel as a quicktime movie. it is common now.
people would probably not install a new thing to their computers for your reel. and the website asks for a specific divx codec. you wouldnt want people to close the window before they see your work.

Thanks for your annotation,

that I did not preconcieved when I uploaded my Reel. IŽll looking for an ftp server where I can upload my Reel as an QT so the people here at CGTalk can watch my Reel whithout the DIVX Codec.

Thanks a lot

Thanks for your annotation...

IŽll upload an QT after Christmas. I thought that the DIVX Codec and Player would be the right solution for a web presentation and did not preconcieved about the download and installation.

thanx :)

Definitely go for Quicktime. I would like to see it as the WIP looked very promising, but I won't install another plugin just to watch your reel.

And get a proper host. Webspace is dead cheap nowadays.

Hi there, I really like your demo and watched it several times.

Very thoughtful presentation, and nice rendering.

Some quick thoughts though, I think your demo is too long over all, there are times I'm wondering why am I looking at lowpoly tree trunarounds and their wireframes over and over..

your rendering is really rounded, but your models are all low poly, so in the future it might be better to include higher poly models and different styles to go with the rendering.

and btw, could you tell me where the music in your demo is from? it sounds nice

Thanks Hymire,

the music is from Steve Jablonsky from the motion picture "The Island"... the title is called "Mass winnings".

Also I added a new link at the top for a QT.
