heh cute! nice model, though maybe it might be nice to give him a bit of a tummy. or a puffed up chest. just to add detail to the main body section and get that seciton more in keeping with the style o the rest of him.

Very cute! It reminds me of the chipmunks--Alvin and the gang. I agree with the comments about the feed and midsection.

Hey guys, thanks for all the great replys, i do plan on making changes to the overall body. He kinda does look like a chip munk hehehh. here is a concept sketch of him. As you can see i have a lot of fixing to do to him. I might even try remodeling him.

Cool stuff. It kind of resembles a taller version of screwy squirrel.

Looks good. What application were you using before Cinema?
glorydays

AdamT: Thanks, before using cinema i used Form-z and a little bit of Electric image. This is my first attempt at modeling a character in any application. Im using c4d 8.1 and so far really enjoy it.

Well that's really an amazing job for your first character! Glad you're liking Cinema--it's a great program.

imho i think the hip part needs to be more smoother join...eg top of leg to body...smooth out a little...other than that..v cool.
especially for your first stuff.

Nice model! a very expressive one.
I think u need to work more on the body legs and feet. Face and Hands are really good!

perhaps u could post some pictures that are a little bigger.
the face looks really quite expressive and really not like a newcomers work.
but for the body, especially the chest and stomage, it´s impossible to tell if they work or not
I´m looking foreward to some cartoonish espressions:
laughing, cream, angry

heres a link to a lil bit bigger of a picture of the face. Im currently reworking his body and feet but I plan on bridging the original hands to the new body. I cant wait to move forward to creating the morph targets. Thanks for all the great comments

I love this!
it is sooo rare that people actually know what they're doing when they make something with a cartoon style! Many times it's a n00b excuse to totally disregard proportions and detail, but you are doing a fantastic job!
No crits, keep it up! (love the avatar)

Nice character but I think it needs more definition in the feet. I also think you need to extend the neck a little and last but not least smaller wrists. But a nice character indeed
this is looking great. i agree with what everyone has said. i was just wondering if you could possibly post a pic of the wireframe. i am intrigued as to what the mesh looks like.
