Yearly CG contest which gives each site a theme and forces them to go at each other. Frankly, not sure why we are discussing it this early since the email I got was basically an announcement for an announcement and begging for sponsors.

c'mon man, it's 1 man running the whole thing...and he puts a lot of efforts, so if early announces helps him and the contest be run and kick ass once again, so be it!!

Yeah FredH does a great job running these comps, getting sponsors, and putting together some great prizes for the winners. Just check out their latest comp, "The Wii Challenge", those are some great prizes!

With that said, this is the email I got.


Dominance War III is right around the corner and this time the epic battle is set to be absolutely the largest war in the series! However, we need your help!

So in other words, aside from asking for sponsors, it seems all this announcement is of is that there is an announcement coming soon. Then again, I usually follow gaming news and I get annoyed when the announcement of an announcement hits all the major sites. It's things like this that lead to mega-tons. I remember the Konami announcement from E3. Basically they hyped all these websites about a some new game announcements beyond the ones shown at E3 due on Monday. So speculation began, anything from MGS going multiplat to Castlevania Legends resurfacing started being debated. Come Monday, the big announcement was that they announced some new games at E3....
