hi all..

i set up a rig for a game character(mechanical) n did animation as well..but i realize that i hvnt performed reset xform on 2-3 bones..

can u guys tel me if there is any solution so that v can perform reset xform after animation n skinning n the skinning n animation remains same..

otherwise i need to do it manually by unlinking n resetting every bone..

plz help

You can reset the bones in the bone tools dialog. If you scaled your bones durring setup well you just shouldn't have done that at all. There is never a need to scale a bone.

For the mesh you are going to have to go back to the default pose, if you used set skin pose you can use skin pose mode to temporarly get the rig back to the default pose. Turn off Always deform in the Advanced rollout of skin, reset the xform, drag the xform modifier below skin and colapse to on the xform. Turn Always deform back on. Turn Skin Pose Mode off.
