umm I think clam_mechanic was pulling your leg :curious: cause all I see is a pink gradient box with some text saying

"www . redrival . com "

"Red Drival"

"Free Web Hosting"

which basically means you can't hotlink from your host.

image is quite nice, Crits:

lighting is a little flat.
the cushions on the couch arent very natural looking
the plate material needs work
the texture on the chairs in the front needs work

did you do the paintings on the wall? i like the one on the right alot

It looks like the ceiling is part of a different model, are you using exclude lights at all? It doesn't seem to "fit"...

Some furniture proportions seem a bit out of whack... Like the arms on the chair in the corner, the round cushions on the square backed couch...

The railing outside the windows seem flat, and background seems pasted into the view, maybe some sprite trees outside with a real sky would work better...

Also, try widening the cone on the "glow" lights coming from the cans...

Rock on.

Like the room BUT: :p

The plates suck (i'm sorry) and the outside picture is to ugly (probably scaled from a low picture to a large one... right?)

other then that nice :applause:

Lighting its all about the lighting. To me this scene has no character, it's so flat. Try to stay away from such an even light distribution across the whole scene. Make it interesting and have fun.

Thanks

I can see....Looks good...although the beam of lights are maybe a little bit strongs for a room so clear.

lighting is lifeless...background doesn't match...the models don't go together....hmmm...what esle...layout sucks...overall ...crappy composition...don't let that stop you tho...good luck man..

How did this get so many stars when there's way better work that never gets rated? For an interior job, its above average but nothing special.

C+C

That light effect filtering down is a bit too fakish. In that bright day, you wouldn't see that light beam effect (unless the room was extremely smokey)

The proportion on your furniture seems to be off, they're too low, small in parts. The yellow couch in the extreme right background is a good example.

Your external view image could be better. Its overstretched and blurry

back to proportion, that table and the plates show that scale is off. Either, the plates are really really big or the table is really narrow.

Finally, your railing is too high. What is it? 1.3 m?

Big lighting problem. Anslo the back image seem to be over blurred. Try a better background instead. Also, i can see the lighting in the room has been faked out. Try to soften the shadows, lower the density of the light. And i assume you have used omni light in the scene?

 modelling around there, just the lighting that turn us down :(
