View Full Version : Power Gradient
Erik Heyninck 04-21-2003, 12:40 PM Can anyone tell me where I can find the Power Gradient?
I tried the Plugin Café's search function, and the developer's corner, but it seems to have disappeared...

hi Erik,
Power gradient was part of the 7.3 (and above?) SDK. I remember Srek telling, that it is replaced by bhodiNUT gradient.
Cheers,

Thanks for the quick reply...In fact: the Power Gradient is on the CD that accompanies Arndt von Koenigmark's book, but I was wondering whether there might be a newer version of it (as he mentions clearly "the most recent version when the book was published).
Anyway: thanks!
Hi,
the old Power Gradient from the C++ SDK has been included as the standard Gradient shader in R8.
Regards
Srek

Whew...in fact: Maxon is really unbelievable. They include everything that's good, handy and interesting, and then they spoil us afterwards with tools and options that some other companies would charge quite a bit of money for.
Thanks!!
