Hi;

Is it possible to re-adjust default settings and tool behaviors in C4D, ie. making the default fps for all projects 25 and/or getting the rectangle selection tool to select all faces instead of visible components only, which is the factory default or autokey on for all open projects and etc? Couldn't see anything in the preferences to make that happen...

Howdy,

Yes, you can create an empty document, set all of your settings the way you like them, and then save that file to the root directory of Cinema 4D and name it "New.c4d". Then from now on every new document you create will have those settings. ;)

You're welcome. ;)

Since R9.5 you're also able to set object defaults by using their Attributes Manager menu "Edit/Set as Default".
