I doubt this is spyware or malware or duplicate domain .. may be not ! but I found this page (http://www.divx.com/divx/windows/download/index.php) from divx.com website for official download .. where do u get your link ?

It was posted over at renderosity.com
in the poser forum
Ive grabbed my free mac version and
can now convert straight to high quality DIVX on OSX
heres a copy & paste from the poser forumthread
"You need a serial number. I know the following link says for "MAC" but it's the link that allows you to enter your email for them to send you a serial number. So I would suggest using this link and not going directly to the download page."

Of course, it's for non-commercial use only but I consider that better than nothing :) This should be immensely useful for a jillion and one demo reels.

Has anyone successfully gotten a valid Windows serial number? I tried the link that says MAC, but it says it's invalid when I try it in the Windows version.

I could be missing something here, but isn't XVid just as good as DivX and open source?
DivX imo seems really bloated and borderline spyware in itself, although this may not be true for the Pro version.

.
Could be im not here to promote DIVX over any other codec
but Its A decent and much used codec for web vids
although FLV at this point is the defacto standard
largely due to Youtube

Yeah xvid is on a par with DivX, although, honestly, you're better off moving x.264/h.264 they're a bit heavier to compress, but worth it in the end.
