hey this is a fine start...but I think you are worrying to much abotu the front and side look, and not the persp look...which is what matters..leave you plane now that you have it laid out and start working on the details..mainly the ear, chin and eyes look odd now..

give it more fullness, its very flat/box because focusing to much on the orthographic views...but don't despair, its a good start...the ear is bugging me the most hehe.. good luck!

fix some on the lips and cheeks.
lips are flat need a little more definition.
cheeks need definition too.

uhh just saw it.
the back part of the jaw especially where the jaw meets the ear, too straight no real dip before it meets the ear.its like it is just one piece.

Hello John,

Here are a few things that I have noticed thus far:

1. The ears need to be a bit more fleshy, especially the bottom part, the lobe. And keep pulling at the points. At the moment the geometry in the ear looks like it is pinched together. Maybe you have too many points in there.

2. The bags under her eyes make her look like she is having allergy problems, I know I am having them now too :) Make this area flow better into the face and also put some eyes in there so that you have reference to how the lids flow around them.

3. Her face looks to narrow, especially the jaw and chin area. You can quickly pull the points around the edge of the jaw down, and see if it makes her face look fuller.

4. Since you are still trying to get the shape of her face correct I would use the band glue tool and glue as many of the isoparms back together around the eyes and mouth. Having less points here will help you edit the mesh faster. You have a lot of them and as you progress I think that you will realize you can get the same amount of detail with less pollies.

5. Her top lip needs to be fuller to.

6. One last thing, Her chin looks pointy, Try making it rounder, or flater at the front most part.

I hope that helps. Ill see you at class tuesday.

@KingMob - I just wanted to tell you that I really like your rock ent creature. YOu just have to love LOTR!!

Thought of something else.

Pull the points forward on her face ( around her cheeks ) and that will also make it look fuller and less narrow.

Also, look more closely at the shape of her eyes. Especially at the corners, youll see that they are more almond shaped and that you need to pull/push these points around on your model.

Hello Again,

Well, I like how it is coming along. I have noticeed another area that need fixed.

The chin is to far back into the head, almost like your beauty there has a helll of an overbite. Bring her chin and upper lip forward some.

Later tonight I will see if I have any refernece images that you can see or you can check for yourself by looking at someone you live with.

Have a fun time working on this.
