View Full Version : WIP - Head for Class project
RavenX 04-21-2003, 12:13 AM I'm modelling a head for a class project. I have to have a whole character for it, and I'm thinking about making K' from The King of Fighters 2001. I can't find a good physical reference, so I'm kinda winging it on actual facial features and such. Any criticisms and recommendations will be appreciated.

looking good so far RavenX, but we cant really tell without looking at the wireframe.
Nice definition in the geometry for a start.

Are his ears too high up? THe hole for the ears I mean. Shouldn't the top of that be at eye level, not eyeberow level? YOu could also do a bit more with the chin and smooth out the forehead. Otherwise, it's looking very clean.

Looking good! Great mesh, too-- except for the smile-line area from the nose down to around the mouth, and the chin is too flat, it could use some more structure and definition.
Check out the Topology Research (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=38469) sticky thread in the Modeling section for examples of how to handle the mesh around the mouth.
The brows on your model are great-- and I especially like the mouth!
