Here is a little something I did to improve my modelling, still needs to be textured. What ya think?

Is the red dot indicating where you live? ;)

the hologram looks cool the hands looking almost there but a few little bits im not sure about, the thumb, the thumb bit looks fine but its the way it comes out of the hand, it looks a bit unnatural, i noticed it in the mesh on the bottom left port of the screen grab more than the render, and the other thing that looks a bit out is the middle sections of the fingers, they all look a bit fat, i know the fingers are flexing but when i flexed my hand the way your image is posed the bulge looks too over pronounced, other than that it looks sweet. i made a hand a while back, low rez really low rez and i sujest thinking hard about how your gonna texture it as it really is an arse. (im not great at textureing so someone with more experience may say differently.)

i think that the gload should be iluminating the hand

i really think that would add to the effect

also some han dtextureing would really beef things up alot

over all thoguh its really good stuff

Use the texture as a projector map to get a little more interesting lighting. Also, maybe change the colour of the light coming from below to a cool colour and the one from above to something warm to get a little more contrast... Play with colours more :)

really good, but you modelled a broken thumb :) as you can see in the left viewport the upper part of the thumb is too far up and the joint of the thumb too far down. so the upper part needs a bit correction i would think.

and a bit lightning from the earth globe would be great.
anyway great work :)

btw. now i am a fan of you since you model the same why i do:

3dsmax open and in the upper part winamp  :bounce:

I thought you couldn't open max without first starting winamp... :D
