Hello Everyone

This is a piece I did of a good friend. I painted this to see how far I could go realistically. It was done in Photoshop using mostly the standard soft edge brushes. The skin tones came out a little smooth so next time I will try using more hard edge brushes. I used a photograph of my friend for reference and I found another reference for the hair. Painting the hair was more time consuming than the actual face so patience was definitely needed. All in all it took about 2 weeks to paint.

And hi to you too Raydar:) !....i'm stunned....exceptional, fantastic hair!:eek: ....saw your WIP, very well done:thumbsup: , surely captured it realistically....you already know what you would of liked to do as far as the skin goes, all in all beautiful piece!...i LOVE it!:love:

Wow that's amazing. Good choice in hair too, I bet your friend was absolutley delighted when she saw this.
