Hey guys,

For sometime i've been meaning to get up to speed with bodypaint and having seen the below pic on maxon.net i'm making it a priority :) so first question, are there any good video tutorials/DVDs available that can get me kick started with bodypaint?

The next question related to the image itself of the bear, can some take a guess at what we're seeing here? by that i mean a break down, i'm guessing the bear itself was created in Maya or softimage etc, so the they've taken the head into BP for texuring, i'm still completely puzzled by the fur, where's the fur coming from? again i'm guessing the fur is generated through one of the above programs so BP isn't rendering the fur on the fly ... anyone :) how are we seeing the fur in BP?

Thanks, Dave.

If you look at the bottom right side of the image. There are no materials for the bear.

My guess is that the head gear was the only thing that is actually being worked on inside of C4D. And the bear is just a prerendered image from another program that was composited into this image.
