Looks great!

I don't know if I could ever find it in me to model a dude's penis though...All my characters until the end of time will hopefully remain action figures ;)

oh god eyes burn, no i didn't just see male genitilia.
when u rig him are you going to make him asthetically correct?
just kidding.
looks good, good detail, but the crotch is to much, imo.
if you go for modelling to do stuff and it's needed then yea put it in, but in most cases it's kinda not.
when you are modelling you have to ask yourself, am i doing this for games or movies?
if it is games you over did it.
if it's movies you are on a good track especially with attention to detail.

oh i for got what i think are problems.
i have little problem with fingers and toes.
parts of his hands are to small or underdeveloped.
fix the big toe, feet are a little flat and to curved in middle area.
lower leg, there is an annoying line running down the middle.
work a little on the top legs.

It takes a real man to put every detail into a model. If you told your lifedrawing teacher that you didn't want to draw a male nude model because you would have to draw his junk, you would be out of the class. Lets grow up eh?

But yes the big toe is a little bit too big. Just use your own foot as an example. But over all GREAT JOB!!!! Keep up the good work Munky!

it seems his genitals begin a little high up?

looks great other than that... are you going to texture him with a stone texture or something?

Wow, great model!! It seems really well modeled except for a few things:

the hands, as mentioned, are way too small and the wrist seems flat. Comparing the size of the forearm to the hand it clearly seems off.

the muscle going from the elbow to forearm on the left arm of middle pic looks off as well. It should start a bit lower down on the elbow I think.

the fat and muscle layers at the waist seem to be a bit deformed by his pose. You probably modeled it correctly first but after posing seems like it should be stretched more on the left side.

The muscles around the knees seem a bit too sharp but that may just be the lighting

The muscles on the back don't seem to be as well defined as the rest. A bit too soft and "displacement map" like

his penis does seem to start a bit too high up. a penis doesnt just protrude out of the body...it's root starts behind the scrotum, at least it did last time I checked :D

I don't have a problem including a penis but for aestethic reasons I'd model it smaller and less obvious, pretty much like all nude statues I've seen are done.

The head looks really nice...
hope to see him finished!

How about driving down to your nearest Wal-Mart and purchase a sense of humor as soon as possible :)

Is overreacting to a little joke/comment a vertue of maturity?

honestly i have to agree with guru...this is the second figure i have posted.....the first had no genitals.....the second does and about 80% of the comments i get are juevenile jokes about the size of his wang. I mean one joke could be funny...but not in every post...i really value the responses i get on cgtalk so i would appreciate if eveyone could stick to constructive remarks about the model and please save the jokes for another thread......how bout this....i'll post a close up of his junk and everyone who wants to get that humor out can post on that thread:beer:

I have alot of experience in maya already but i wanted to show some versatility. Thanks for the compliment though......P.S. I am looking for a job:buttrock:
