Title: "Hamilo Coast" library
Name: Joseph Alfred Garcia
Country: Philippines
Software: 3ds max, VRay

This area is the library area. They gave me some references (i think drawn in illustrator) that they told me that it must be as close as possible when I render out the geometry. They wanted a homely'zen-ish feel to it so there... a lot of off-white color and plain stuff. I tried playing around with the other settings of the Vray material. You could see a little "fog" in the foreground glass table. The settings here were just Hsphsubdiv = 50, Light cache = 1000

looks very comfortble, maybe you can try put more books int room, the background seems a little empty now.

very nice light, and over all composition but i would say, that if the wooden book shelves were actually of metal, that would look very cool, right now, it seems that they dont belong here, cuz the overall white look actually is being affected by it.
apart from that, very good, 4 stars

Thanks for the crit...sorry for the late reply, been busy with some projects and of course the holiday season caught up with me. I was wondering if you guys have anymore VRay tips that I could use in my work. I always take these tips seriously because I do want to really improve myself and my workflow...you know, sort of try to speed things up so I could spend more time in reading/doing tutorials, yes yes i know...geeek!!! :)
