ok, i have my object, the plane below it an the lighting setup

however, i hit On for the shadows and i don't get any

i am using a target spot for lighting and i have my object however under the shadow paramters i hit on for shadows and i do not get them, any ideas?

on the object that you want to have cast shadows, right click it and got to properties and make sure that the cast shadows option is on that obj.
also witht the light make sure you did not exclude your obj in the exclude box in the shadows in gen params.

yep, did that and it still doesn't show me shadows
