Rotating canvas like painter

Feature long asked for and never implemented. According to adobe it would take alot of re writing of the legacy code to create such a feature and since the market they are focused on is photography they wont implement it until the photographers ask for it.

is the thing u guys are talking different then " rotate canvas".

can we rotate the painter canvas differently
i was not aware of it..

The short cut escapes me at the moment but if you hold down a key and click and hold outside the canvas you interactively rotate the canvas.

Hold down the "Grabber" button (Clenched fist) on the tool bar and you'll get a flyout with a circular arrow. Click on that, and you'll have a tool to rotate a canvas anyway you like. Just click and drag. Double click on it and the canvas will straighten up to where you started. Oops, this is in Painter only. No way to do the same in Photoshop.

I may "compromise" them...

Since Painter read photoshop file(vice-versa), I'd rather do what you need to be worked, and open it from Painter if you are going to paint with merit of "rotationability" :)

I read Photoshop will NOT come up with rotainal function alike painter offersfor this moment, and it'd be time saver if you jump around from two great apps...
