View Full Version : Object: Guitar
Primitive 04-19-2003, 08:12 PM Hey! My first post!
Maybe I should introduce myself. I'm a 16 year old kid from Sweden who started with 3D-modelling 3 months ago. I've been hanging around this forum the last 2 months though, watching, waiting. :)
Since I am a musician (or was, I haven't really played anything since I started with 3d studio max) I decided to model a guitar.

Great job on it, is very accurate - looks just like the strat i have in my room. My only suggestion is to have a little fun and make the body somewhat reflective.
And welcome to the forums ;) (i'm one to talk)

it is pretty good, but i wouldn't say "very accurate"... looks like there are some issues with the body proportions, the general shape of the body/pickguard, the patch cord plug, the proportions of the buttons, and a couple more things. it's hard to see from here, but is the edge of your guitar beveled straight or round?

Looking really good. The corners of the body aren't smooth. Aren't they on your fender? On my fender they are. :-)

I can't spot the proportions-issues. Except that the buttons should be larger.
The corners of the body will be smoothed. Dunno how I missed that one.
Erikoien: I haven't even got a Fender, I play Jackson.
Thanks guys.
