SofianeAV 12-09-2007, 07:36 AM in my cmputer I've set up the chinese language so i can easly type it, also I've download some chinese fonts in order to use them in my art but photoshop CS3 can't upload these fonts it has just its three simple fonts of chinese which I don't please, the question is " how could this CS3 upload & accept the fonts though I have set them up in my windows fonts ?"
please i am waiting for the answer .

I think SofianeAV is talking about Font, just replace police by font and what SofianeAV has written will have more sense

and about what i meant about police - is not cops you know- the meaning is font

I'm sorry dude I didn't mean to be rude :hmm:
I'm not a native French either - and I pretty much believe cgtalk isn't as well- so if this was if this was a confusion contest I'm pretty sure that would place.
anyways are they true type? because I ran into somewhat similar problem with Arabic, and truetype worked.

This thread is hilarious.
Anyway, check the extension on the font file. If it's .TTF (TrueType font) or .OTF (OpenType font) then Photoshop should have no problem 'uploading and accepting' it. If it's any other format, please specify the extension so we have more information.

i did and i ve found that my chinese is font ' extension are TTP ( true type font) but it dosen't work i don't know why?

TTP? It should be TTF. I'm pretty sure TTP isn't a font. Is it really TTP or did you typo and actually mean TTF?
Also, is it a free font? If it's a free font, please post it somewhere so we can take a look at it first hand.
