View Full Version : How many HDRI configuration references are there?
addicted2_3D 04-19-2003, 06:31 PM How many HDRI project configuration references are there? I've seen projects that instead of using spheres substitute skies. What are the benefits of this. Myself I still get the spheres showing up in my renders. Also what are the benefits of keeping other lights in the the scene? I presume to further tweak the HDRI, but would love to get the skinny on it.:beer:

You can use a Compositing Tag to make spheres invisible, "Seen by Camera", off the top of my head.

Cool thanks that helped, but I was also wondering bout using a sky instead of the spheres? Whats the rational and or benefits?

The sky object dynamically sizes itself to fit your scene, reducing the number of samples you need to get a good result.
