I need to rig a feather duster for a shot I'm working on. I could probably get it to work with cloth if I worked at it enough, I was just wondering if there was a better way to go about doing it since setting up cloth can be a headache. Basically I need one character to use a feather duster to dust off another character

Paul, I saw that you did some cool tutorials using flex, but as far as I can tell you have to use planar deflectors? Do you think it would be possible to get good results from flex for this type of situation? or should I just use cloth?

Flex could work, depends on how acurate you need it to be. You can use an deflectors with flex but they will not work as well as it does in cloth.
