Hi I see that there are not much discussion on rigging and skining arthropods. I find it intrigueing to rig them even on the modeling stage....

Should they be in one mesh or seperate meshes?
for seperate meshes they will overlap

I'd rig them like I would a robot...
so one mesh or 100 whatever...there is no deformation so take your pick.
