Hey, i posted this over in my original wip page but no 1 seems to be replying

Im just having a problem with weights on the lower spine.. somereason it is effecting a corner of a pouch when it shouldnt even be in range to be effected.. i tried painting it away but that didnt seem to effect it at all.

as you can see the falloff ends, but then on the pouch its red

this is my first time rigging a character so i dont know too much, i just used max biped with skin modifier

I am more of a Maya guy than a MAX guy but, as I recall, Physique works better with Biped than Skin does. Switching modifiers may fix the problem.

You apply it the same as Skin; select your mesh and then pick Physique from the modifier list. Then, you can select the Biped node to attach to.

I know it's a drag to re-do your envelopes, but it may fix the problem, and in the long run I think it will make your project a lot easier to handle.

yeap KevinKraeer is right, biped with skin will give you all this kind of headaches, that happend to me too, if you want to use skin then you should use bones, but if you want to stick with the biped, then use physique which is meant to work with biped
