Yo Andrew I'm to tired to test this but if you made your shapes on duplicated objects why don't you just delete the unshaped half of the face and then dup the shape half then merge? Of course I could have totally misunderstood you.

And RmachucaA what do you mean wrong forum this is the forum for Softimage/Softimage XSI so it is the perfect place for posting technical problems relating to soft.
