i made a model in z brush but want to give it proper uv's
how can i take a highrez poly model and give it uv's from another application ?
i imported a low poly version of the model to max , uv'ed it end exported it back to zbrush
and then used the uv'd lowpoly model to project on the high rez model and the colors but when it all was done the model lost the uv's i set up , is that even the right way to approach it ? or do i have to start every time with a low poly uv'd base mash in order to have them later ? cant i sketch a model lets say from a sphere and then give it uv's from another aplication and bring it back to z brush without loosing all the details ?
