with Shynola's success, do you guys still seek certain bands to work with? or is it more passive where the agency asks if you want the job or not?
and one more :)
will there be a commercial release for "An Eye For An Eye"?

I wish you had asked about the "Eye for an Eye" release and making of it, but GREAT interview anyways. Also if you guys haven't seen the video Shynola made for Quannum's "I changed my mind" check it out at http://www.solesides.com/. It's really cool as well as the song is superb...Poets of rhythm goodness! ;)

Yeah, that´s with every kind of music thats good but unkown first.
So many people who dont like it really but listen to it because its easy for them to get in radio on tv and stuff.
I hope they´ll do a 15mins video next which doesnt understand anyone. (toolish) So they cant play it on Mtv.

haven't seen this new vid yet (too much work needing to get done). but in my personal opinion... the best ones shynola's put forth so far:
-unkle's guns blazing
-quannum mcs' i've changed my mind
-steve malkmus's jojo's jacket
-radiohead's pyramid song
they're are some of the best videos ever! plus the radiohead kid a blips... hell yeah!!! especially bear witch & breakdown :buttrock:
great interview btw! thanks sheep,

Awesome video, cool interview! Hadn't seen or heard of that band or the video myself before (sorry! don't watch a whole lot of MTV these days, or search out music of this type...but I liked it).
The quality of that WinMedia video was pretty bad on my end though and I'm on cable...gonna go check out the quicktime. I did find a Real Media version on mtv's site as well, good quality but kinda smallish:

There was something in the article about RealViz
we had a woefully inadequate amount of tracking markers on the floor and walls of the green screen, and Clear had to send some of our shots to RealVIZ, who are now using them to demonstrate how good their software is!
I was wondering where I might be able to see these shots.. I went to the RealViz site but had no luck finding them.. Also if there is am image showing the layers used in compositing the explosion that would be great to see as well..
Band Rocks, Shynola Rocks, CGTalk...? Rocks...
