Hi there!!!
This is my first post here, I got that tip from dandavis and what I have seen here is damn cool, I think I will love CG Talk...

Hey FAKE, nice to see you here as well, good image too, although the lighting looks a little flat, needs to have brighter highlights and maybe a yellow/orange tint , I don't get the impression of a hot desert at the moment ( if thats what the location is ), I think the texture on the rock could do with a tweak aswell, looks like it needs a more coarse bump map, rougher, maybe change the colours slightly as well, to match the sand
looking good so far though :thumbsup:

this is a cool intro...what is it with you and dan....robots etc...you guys got the bug!

the rocks need a little work...as squid mentioned.

i thing what would be really cool...is if you visited the materials sticky at the top of the cinema forum...then look for links on snow....i don't mean drop snow on the scene...but use that technique to sprinkle dust on the mashed up machinery...would look very funky...then maybe some dust particles in the air...and voila...dunno if you agree.

nice pic and welcome to the fastest growing forum on the net (well maybe just percentagewise but that counts).

great pic all the good crits have already been taken.

for lighting help look in the tutorials thread there is one that has colors for all the diffrent types of lights you will ever need.
