You call yourself animator, but your skills for modeling and render are great. I would like to see some of your animations.
Yes what software did you use?

Many thanks! I'm sorry I forgot to add some Info:

This is 3ds max 2008 + FinalRender R2 SP1 + Photoshop

There is not much compositingstuff, it came pretty much out of max as you see it here. I did some global CC in PS an blured the car slightly to better match the background.

You can read about the cars creation proccess here:

or here (cg-cars.com), where it went a bit further:

Nice render DerPapa you deserve front page. I really enjoy how the light hits the front of the car, really realistic you earned five stars. How many lights are in the scene if you don't mind me asking!

Looks totally awesome! the model itself is a beauty! Checked back on the wip thread and I have to say your way of modelling with the snap to spline technique really is inspiring.

Materials and lighting looks perfect IMO.

5* of course

edit:agree on the frontpage for sure, plug this one!

Excelent!! with that illumination you can set a green alien driving the car and still would be believable :D

Thank you very much for all the stars :)

There are no additional lights in the scene, just the pure HDRI plus some few additional GI from 4 selfillum lamps I placed in the scene to catch some reflections (in the windows) :)

the hdri is this in original size and kinda original exposure, I think:

Here is a wire of the scene :

Jitender, I'm sorry, dunno the rendertime anymore. About 3 hrs Maybe? E6600 - 2 GIG.
I'm using Catmull Rom in this case.
I put the little HDRI I posted above into the Skylightslot. Yes, GI is on :)
