well... been working on it for 'bout 2 hours i think? mainly... i was wondering what i should do now. Should i be adding to it? detailing it? what do you all think of the composition? the idea?
About detailing... anybody have tips on painting objects such as bushes and trees? of course, i don't want to paint every single leaf, but every time i've made a brush to help me with this process, it's failed miserably.

U just to have to draw a brush for leafs. Preferally, not one.
And with careful scattering and angle, size, roundness jilters u can achieve the result u need with distand and mid-distant leaf. Don't set opacity <50-70. Or u'll just shade leaf gathering into a simple shades. 'Couse u wanna sharp and recognizeble leaf.
At the and u must work with some leaf, and with a closest ones - mainly.
Here's what i've done in 10 mins with a new created brush. It's not so good as i wanted it to be, but it's shows the idea.

Go on! U can make this forest live! =)
At the end i say, that u can add some warm sunny volume light that flow througth the leaf. This would look great!

I think you should add more details to the trees, and maybe some animals in the forest? (depends is it's a fantasy or real forest :))
