Cool , student work..
The thing that it really shock me , your overlaps are really really too strong notably her wrists.
( ex : when she climbs the cupboard ).
And she have no weight...
Sorry if i m hard , but it's a honest critic...

Hi Donald :) Your short is very cute. Scob is right about the overlaps being a little too strong, but it does show that your mind was going into the right place, and that you're aware of the "layers of the onion". hehe
Overall, very nice story, made me laugh, and I'd hire you in a heartbeat! You have a great work ethic, and let me know who's lucky enough to get ya. :)

Don,
I think it is a great job and I am sure you`re going to find work soon. Keep working as you do it in VFS. It was a great year and I hope I can see you here or in Indonesia.

Hmm. Pretty creepy... to see a little girl move like that. At various times she moved like a puppet, a body builder, a video game, a jazzerciser, a 20's silent movie star. At no time did she resemble a 5-year old little girl. The above posters are right about the exaggerated overlap, but moreover... just look at some reference of a little kid toddling around before you animate it.
EDIT:
PS: Call me grumpy, but I wish you VFS kids would stop wantonly upvoting your friends.

Great Stuff, Don!! Was nice seeing your reel evolve from concept to execution!! Good Luck with everything!
P.S. Henning, its a learning curve for everyone from VFS and these are student reels. Some dont have any 3D background at all and have pulled off quiet a bit considering the time constraints and other limitations. I am sure everyone will keep evolving and improving their craft:)
Best
