CGTalk - please critique

Hi guys, I am a character animator, and I am hoping to get into the film industry.
Here is some animation I did in november. I had it posted here before but I didn't get much of a response:annoyed: . I'm about to finish a contract and I'm thinkng about making another short.
When I make my next short I will try to spend more time on the texturing and especialy the lip sync. I don't have any solid ideas about what I will do for the next one, but I would like to know what you guys might suggest I improove, include, or remoove before I get sarted.

you need quick time 5 to watch it, but mabey there is a problem with the link. go to www.jeremystewart.com and then try linking to james brown from there if you already have quick time 5

hehehe.
That is so funny. What a great character to animate. James Brown is awesome.
I think the animation is very good. You are definately right about focusing on the textures and lipsinc, though. It could really be outstanding if there were even more subtle facial movements and better phonym blending.
I love the tongue, and when his whole head shakes ever so slightly when he screams. Good stuff.

Aww Man, absolutely hilarious. (one legged shuffle) I have to agree the lip sync need a bit more tweeking. Awesome job though. Quick question off the subject, on your site when you click on each menu, how did you change the color of the title bar(Blue bar) from the regular blue to black?

:eek: :eek: , is very randy and fun this James Brown, and the animation is very expressive, it have a lot of rhythm, the unique bad point of this big work, maybe is the animation of the eyes is weak, maybe is because not have textures in the eyes, about the rest is fantastic, nice work Jeremy.
